The article investigates the functionality and technologies used in the activity tracking modules of popular LMS systems. The control and assessment of students' knowledge system (Lmsdot) is analyzed. The requirements for automating the process of tracking actions were formulated, a conceptual model, various interaction scenarios and the design of the corresponding module for the Lmsdot system were developed. Software implementation completed. The module was put into operation and tested by teachers D.P. Smirnov. and Dedovich T.G. while teaching the course “Mathematical Logic and Theory of Algorithms”.
