Development of a regression model of the effect of the 3D printing process on surface roughness

Бесплатный доступ

The article examines the effect of 3D printing parameters on surface roughness. 20 samples made of ABS plastic were taken for the study. During the printing process, the printer parameters varied, which made it possible to obtain samples with different surface characteristics. Measurements were carried out to assess the surface roughness of each sample. Based on the data obtained, correlation and regression models were built. As a result of the analysis, a regression equation was obtained, which allowed us to determine which factors have the greatest impact on surface quality. The results of the study can be useful for optimizing the 3D printing process and improving the quality of the resulting products. The article is of interest to specialists in the field of additive technologies, as well as to anyone interested in the possibilities of 3D printing.
