Development of recommendations on application of technology and principles of lean production in higher educational institutions of the country and in the world

In the modern world, the process of Russia’s transition to a new system of educational activity should be one of the priorities, because this will make domestic education more popular and competitive, as well as moving to higher stages in international education. Lean productionis one of the most popular and effective concept, currently being implemented in the practice of higher educational institutions. Lean manufacturing is a philosophy that changes the established views on the organization of relations between participants in the process of creating value, it affects all layers in the organizational structure of an educational institution, and requires its followers within the organization and the surrounding business environment. In this article the possibility of adaptation of certain technologies of lean production to educational institutions is considered. In particular, the following technologies are described: «Step by step», elimination of losses, «alarm notification», value, «Visualization». The practice of using these technologies is considered on the example of the implementation of the project «Lean University» in the Belgorod state national research University. Introduction of a complex of technologies of lean production in higher educational institutions allows improving all process of training.
