This article is devoted to the study of personnel motivation, the interpretation of this concept by Russian scientists is presented, the motivation criteria necessary to increase the performance of workers at the construction enterprise are named. The issues of forming a system of motivation for labor in its relationship with the assessment of the results of the activities of the personnel of the enterprise are considered. The feasibility of applying the methods of material stimulation of labor in achieving the growth of labor productivity is substantiated, the relationship of motivation criteria with an increase in the development of workers is reasoned.
