Development of standards for student hostels (change in legislation requirements for this temporary accommodation format)

The article reveals the main requirements for student hostels in Russia. It is revealed that there are a huge number of standards that regulate construction, operation and repair and restoration work. The article focuses on foreign experience in standardizing student dormitories and introducing modern requirements for such premises. Currently, there is a need to remodel the premises of educational institutions.
