Development of dry electropolishing technology for a gas turbine engine monowheel

This scientific article is devoted to the development of dry electropolishing technology for monowheels of gas turbine engines. The paper considers the main problems of traditional methods of polishing single-wheel gas turbine engines, requirements for the technology and its main stages, results and prospects for the development of this method. The developed technology has shown high efficiency for surface treatment of monowheels with minimal wear and deformation of parts.
