The development of a device for adjusting and testing the optical system of a DNA sequencer for massively parallel sequencing (MPS) is described. The device contains a microfluidic cell with fluorescent microspheres immobilized on the flat surface of the chip channel. Microspheres with a diameter of 1 μm serve as a model of fluorescent colonies of DNA fragments formed during amplification and subsequent sequencing. A method for immobilizing a stable monolayer of microspheres on the surface of the chip channel is considered.
