Resolution of international economic disputes: current trends

The article deals with the current problems of international economic disputes caused by the informatization of society as well as international commercial transactions being conducted against a background of economic sanctions. There have been identified the following directions of legal regulation in resolving international economic disputes: judicial specialization in international commercial relations; introduction of accelerated judicial remedies; development of alternative ways to resolve international economic disputes; expanding the range of alternative ways to settle disputes through mediation, private and judicial reconciliation. The paper provides analysis of the package of bills aiming to improve conciliation procedures that was introduced by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in 2018.
