Development of advocacy and reform of the bar in the Russian Federation

The bar of the Russian Federation is an institution of legal assistance to citizens and legal entities based on professionalism and competence. The status of a lawyer implies the presence of specialized education and knowledge necessary to protect the rights, freedoms and interests of the principals. Today there is a transformation of the legal profession and the legal market. Representatives of the expert community form specific scientifically-based proposals and recommendations aimed at strengthening the guarantees of unhindered implementation of advocacy, strengthening its prestige and efficiency, and, as a consequence, - to increase the level of legal protection of citizens, as well as create a basis for the implementation of the proposals in lawmaking and law enforcement.
