The active development of organic agriculture and the production of organic products are of great strategic importance for both ecology and improvement of the quality of life of the population. The purpose of the study is to assess the development of the main directions of agroecology at the regional and federal level. From a scientific point of view, agroecology is a complex of agroeconomic techniques aimed at developing sustainable agricultural systems, which make it possible to optimize and stabilize the sectoral development of agriculture. Given that this direction of organic farming is aimed at the reproductive process of agricultural producers and end users, it is advisable to use logistic supply chain management models. At the same time, it should be noted that this direction implies state regulation in the form of various measures of state support. The analysis of world experience shows that in many countries this issue is solved in different ways, but in general distinguish two main directions: direct and indirect assistance. The Russian market for organic products is estimated at $ 160 million with the potential capacity of the organic capacity in the form of 2000 agricultural producers. According to the Union of Organic Agriculture, there are about 130 certified companies in Russia, of which 60 organizations have Russian certificates. In the structure of certified producers of organic products, the Altai Region occupies an average regional position, which is due primarily with certain difficulties in certification of organic products. In the regional development strategy, issues such as agro-ecologicalization and biologization of agriculture, further development of deep processing of agricultural raw materials, the development of small forms of management are allocated.
