The paper presents the results of a study of the development of private investment in the securities market of the Russian Federation. The authors determined the conditions for individual investment on the Russian securities market, gave a qualitative and quantitative characteristic of private investment on the Russian securities market, outlined a set of institutional measures that stimulate the development of private investment mechanisms, tools and institutions.
