Development of the human potential of the region based on the strategy of socio-economic development of the region

The article reveals the main components of the development of the human potential of the region such as health, education and science, social protection of the population, culture, physical culture and sports, youth policy, public safety. The purpose of the study is to identify and organize the basic components of human potential development. Comparative analysis, analytical, statistical and logical methods were used as the research methodology. The analysis is based on research materials of domestic scientists and the program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Buryatia until 2035”. The results of the study are that human development activities are organized and systematized in each direction. The novelty of the research lies in the division of tasks into tangible and intangible. The materials provided are organized and systematized. They can be used for the development of regional programs, and strategies.
