Human development in urban environment: review of municipal strategies

A category of human potential is becoming ever more relevant in planning of the urban socio-economic development. The article focuses on development of basic principles of the city planning with consideration for human fulfillment. Application of these principles in development of the municipal socio-economic development programs will not only improve their efficiency, but also can make it possible to focus on the actual problems impeding with the human development in the modern cities of Russia.
