Development of the digital economy and information technologies in the Russian Federation

This article examines such a system element of modern economic relations as the digital economy. Statistics on the development of information and communication technologies in our country in comparison with other countries of the world are analyzed. Some recommendations have been made for the development of the digital economy in our country in connection with the epidemiological situation that arose in 2019 caused by coronavirus infection.
