Development of the activity of the student scientific association

The paper presents the results of the work on the development of the student scientific association Samara State Tech-nical University. The main objectives are: to involve students SSTU in scientific research, innovation and (or) scientific and educational activities, creating conditions for the development of scientific potential and the formation of students' research competencies SSTU, assistance in organizing the process of research, innovation and scientific and educational activities of students at SSTU, popularization of scientific activities among students. Introduction: The youth policy at the university is being successfully implemented and has a positive development dynamics, which is primarily provided by student initiatives and youth projects of research and innovation orientation. To create favorable conditions for the functioning of scientific activities of young people, a youth scientific society operates at SSTU and the Council of young scientists and specialists. In 2021, a student scientific association was formed, which organically fit into the current structure of youth policy.
