Development of the activities of customs authorities in the conditions of the digital economy

In the context of the transition to a digital and intelligent platform, the activities of customs authorities are focused on the implementation of modern information technologies that contribute to the optimization of customs procedures and the formation of new operating systems. The scientific article discusses the use of new technologies in customs, which reduce costs in the process of implementing the work of not only customs authorities, but also participants in foreign trade activities. Specific results of the process of transition to a new digital format of work of the customs services of the EAEU countries are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to the prospects for introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the activities of customs checkpoints, government decisions on the development of digitalization processes and improving the efficiency of customs services.
