The system of economic relations between producers and processors of raw materials in the cotton complex of the republic has determined two main forms of contractual relations between agricultural producers and processing enterprises. The main problem of the cotton and textile industry of the republic is the lack of a full production cycle of cotton fabrics used in the manufacture of finished textiles for final use, which leads to a decrease in the production of finished textiles, its high cost and an increase in import volumes. The need to create a cotton-textile cluster is justified, first of all, by the lack of a full cycle of fabric production of finished textile products, a decrease in production volumes in the textile and clothing industry using local raw materials with an increase in imports for processing yarn and fabrics and textile products in general. In the future, the creation of a cotton-textile cluster with developed infrastructure in the Kyrgyz market will contribute to the stabilization and development of the cotton complex, the production and processing of raw cotton and increasing the competitiveness of the industry. The competitiveness of the products of each cluster will be ensured through the fullest use of the natural and climatic potential of the territory, its location, as well as priority government support at the first stage of development.
