J.K. Bluntschli was born in 1808. J.K. Bluntschli is a distinguished Swiss legal scholar, one of the founders of the Institute of International Law. He wrote many works on theory of state and law, international law, the genesis and typology of states, he was elected a foreign member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Science, a member of Moscow University and many other scientific communities. The fact that the fundamental tenets of his theory were founded during the initial period of his work is of great interest for researchers of the multifaceted creative heritage of J.K. Bluntschli. J.K. Bluntschli became a famous person for his time, not only as a lawyer and as a scholar. During his life, he managed to become a legislator, to work as a civil servant, a legal adviser, an advisor to sovereigns, a clergy and a head of the synod, he became famous as a party leader, an agitator, a popular orator and a publicist, a representative of his people and, at the same time, a reputed statesman, an author of newspapers articles, he became famous as a member of diplomatic conferences, and even a head of a public assembly. However, wherever this talented person appeared and worked, he found positive solution of problems both with regard to legislation, and with regard to teaching law and politics, exercising freedom of conscience and religion, and raising the level of political culture of people.
