This article describes the essence of multi-art approach on the development and bringing up of children as an effective way of developing the emotional responsiveness of intellectually gifted adolescents and children with disabilities (such as intellectual disabilities, mental retardation, autism, hyperactivity and other disorders in the development of emotional-volitional sphere).The author describes the method of the synthesis of three art forms - music, painting and poetry; offers a fragment of thematic planning; characterizes the value of integrated effect of arts on a personal development of the child. The idea of multi-art approach in education is relevant, realistic and achievable. Despite some novelty, it is totally harmonizes with modern regulatory documents in the field of education (including the Federal State Educational Standards of Pre-school and General Education) and scientific-theoretical theories of pedagogy and psychology. The experience of developmental and educational activities by means of arts in real conditions of education has been confirmed by its effectiveness in working with children with special educational needs.
