The new requirements for the level of development of professional skills and abilities of teachers for inclusive education in the field of information and communication technologies are concretized. In view of the major functions of education, related to the need to create conditions for children to achieve the highest possible level of development of intellectual, spiritual and moral foundations of the individual and the concept of “information-educational environment“, the urgent tasks and features of its design and use in educational activities are clarified. The main competencies, training and software-methodical material, expected results of education of children with special needs in terms of use of virtual tools for self-selection of the teacher information and communication technologies in the design of the educational process, as well as - an organizational tool for the further development of professional competence in the field of information and communication technologies in advanced training systems are discussed.
