The development of the inheritance law in Russia: to the question of necessity of inclusion the digital assets in the inherited estate

This study analyzes the doctrinal positions concerning the location of digital assets, in particular, cryptocurrency, in the legal system of the Russian Federation. The question of the possibility of inheritance of the crypto currency, as well as other digital assets, is analyzed. The current court practice of the inclusion the cryptocurrency in the composition of other assets is given, which leads us to the conclusion that it is possible to include digital assets in the composition of the inherited estate.
