Development of the institute of public control in housing and utilities infrastructure in the new economic environment

The article discusses the concept of public housing control, legal regulation and support of this area, describes its main directions, responsibilities and activities. We study the devel- opment of public control in Russia, identify and analyze the most urgent problems of the population associated with housing and utilities infrastructure, the activities of property management companies. The ways to resolve some of the problems discussed above through the activities of non-profit organization for housing and utilities services "Control" and the most effective directions for improving the public education in this field are proposed. We have considered the key activities hold in 2017 in order to draw attention to the public moni- toring of resource-supplying organizations and property management companies, homeown- er associations, etc., reflected the state of the institute of public control in housing and utili- ties infrastructure today.
