Development of housing mortgage lending in Russia on the basis of subsidy programs

Mortgage housing lending is one of the most important elements of the economic system of the Russian Federation, playing a huge role in providing the population with housing and improving living conditions. The purpose of the research is to study the current state and identify relevant and promising ways to develop mortgage housing lending based on the use of market mechanisms. To achieve this goal, not only general scientific methods and techniques were used, but also special economic and mathematical research methods. To date, there has been a general downward trend in the number of credit institutions, including those providing mortgage loans. In general, over the period 2021-2023, the number of these credit institutions decreased by 58 units, or by 19%. The leading positions in the volume of mortgage loans are occupied by banks with state participation. Under the conditions of sanctions, a significant impact on the growth and development of the mortgage lending market in the country is provided by the developed state.
