Development of Russia's economic potential under sanctions pressure: retrospective and perspective

The article presents the main results of the study of the historical experience of the development of economic and industrial potential in the Soviet period. The publication substantiates the relevance of studying the mechanism of economic management in the USSR in order to use the effective practices in modern conditions; identifies objectively existing features inherent in the socio-economic situation in the country both in the Soviet period and at present; conducted a retrospective analysis of the history of economic development of the USSR; formed a list of effective management practices in the development of Russia's industrial potential under sanctions based on in-depth expert interviews; in the course of sociological surveys, public opinion was studied regarding the need and possibility of using the Soviet experience to develop the economic and industrial potential of Russia in the conditions of the technological blockade and sanctions of the West.
