The article considers the use of complex tasks for coordination and visual - imaginative thinking in training sessions of orienteering athletes with hearing impairment aged 11 - 12 years. When performing coordination exercises, tasks were given for visual and imaginative thinking. The results of the formative experiment confirmed the effectiveness of complex tasks.
