The article examines the significance of marketplaces as key elements of modern e-commerce and their role in the transformation of global retail. The author analyzes the factors influencing the rapid growth of marketplaces, such as the increase in sales volume, consumer trust in major brands, access to mobile apps, and improved logistics. The challenges arising from the rapid expansion of marketplaces are also discussed.
