Development of dairy cattle in the Moscow region

This article presents the main characteristics of dairy cattle breeding in farms of all categories of the Moscow Region in the dynamics of 2008-2016. The change in the total number of dairy cattle in the dairy sector, including cows, the dynamics of gross milk production in the region and milk yield per cow, is also considered, and a change in the reproduction rate as a calves output is presented.
