Currently, the development of targeted products for individual segments of consumers is of great importance for the development of the tourism industry. This article examines the history of the creation of youth tourism and its relevance today. The problems of the development of this direction, as well as the motivation and goals of young travelers are identified. The issue of the need to create a regulatory framework regulating youth tourism was also raised. The article analyzes the development potential of this type of tourism in the Samara region and suggests measures to introduce it to the market of tourist services.
