Development of national sports in the Republic of Karelia

National sports - sports that have historically formed and formed, as well as were common, among one people or nationality, are part of the folk culture. This article describes the traditional Karelian game - Kukka. This game allows you to develop such physical qualities as: coordination, accuracy, speed of reaction, improves spatial orientation. It is being introduced in the territory of the Republic of Karelia, as a third lesson in physical culture in educational institutions.
