Development of student’s research skills at laboratory-based practicals in general chemistry

The article explores the pedagogical conditions for developing research skills of students specialising in engineering during laboratory-based practicals in general chemistry. Methodological recommendations as to how to organise experimental work in order to develop analytical skills, skills of representation and acquisition of experimental data are covered in a thorough manner.
