The article substantiates the necessity of improving the system of non-financial incentives in companies with well-developed tangible component. The role of nonmaterial incentives in improvement of employees' performance and creating of comfortable social environment in the organization is considered. The author discusses a number of similar problems existing in small service enterprises, which can be eliminated by improving the intangible methods of motivation in the overall motivation system. Management decisions aimed at the development of the current system of non-financial incentives at oilfield service companies are suggested.
