Development of education in the Orenburg region from 1918 to 1929

The article presents a historical and pedagogical analysis of the development of education in the Orenburg region in the first decade of the post-revolutionary period. The level of education of schoolchildren is revealed, the quality of teacher training is revealed, and the problems of introducing universal primary education, as well as the methods used to eliminate them, are analyzed. The authors pay special attention to changes in the system of primary and secondary general education in the Orenburg region during the period under review.
