The organizational culture development in consumer cooperatives

The study deals with the organizational culture of consumer cooperatives. Culture development management in relation to this system is reviewed as well. The paper identifies the elements of organizational culture and their impact on business entities performance. Based on questionnaire and collection of opinions from the staff of the Mordovian Republican Union of Consumer Societies, the authors analyze the level of organizational culture at the current stage of social and economic development. In addition, the research defines and substantiates a significant role of personnel risks in this field for the above-mentioned association. Moreover, measures to improve organizational culture are proposed. These measures should increase social and economic indicators and economic performance of the Mordovian Republican Union of Consumer Societies.
