Development of a special economic zone of «Terbuny» in the Lipetsk region

The article reviewed the main components of the SEZ, the principles and conditions of operation, the stages of creation and the experience of the SEZ in a particular region. Ensuring the sustainable development of depressed areas is one of the key problems of modern Russia. World practice has developed a tool for solving this problem. Such a tool is the formation of so-called special economic zones (SEZ) with a taxation regime that is favourable for business in different territories (regions) of the country.
