Within the framework of the article below, the essence of such an economic category as "personnel development" is considered, and its role in the efficiency of the company is determined. In addition, the author pays special attention to the study of the main elements of the development system and determining the degree of their integration into the work of Russian companies. In conclusion, the author describes the problems of the personnel development system that are peculiar exclusively to Russian companies and forms recommendations for their elimination.
