The research issue is especially relevant with consideration for contemporary educational reform. In this paper the authors present the results of their own experimental survey being of great value by both practical and theoretical significance of its sequences, which emphasize fundamental character of the study. The authors substantiate educational conditions for development of students’ cognitive activity during humanities study by accomplishing creative tasks.
