Description. This article examines the methodological potential of museum pedagogy as a means of forming cognitive universal educational actions of schoolchildren. The level of formation of cognitive EUL in schoolchildren was diagnosed, the most problematic aspects requiring increased attention were identified. It is shown that through the introduction of the method of project activity it is possible to solve problematic problems and stimulate the development of creativity.
