Development of projects for bicycles’ manufacturing in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle of urban residents

The problem of a healthy lifestyle has become more relevant today than ever, and the fashion for traveling to the place of study, work on two-wheeled transport came with it. A bicycle is no longer just entertainment, but a necessary means of transportation. Bike paths, rental points and bike parking are something without which it is difficult to imagine almost any modern city in Russia. People began to pay more and more attention to physical activity, their health and inner harmony. However, a small number of domestic bicycle manufacturing plants are operating in Russia today, which in a certain way affects the level of supply of these goods to the population's demand. The paper analyzes the bicycle market in Russia, considers its key players, segmentation of the target audience is made, the types of bicycles that are appropriate for production are determined, the influence of internal and external environmental factors on the development of bicycle production is evaluated in order to establish key strategic objectives for its development.
