Development of professional math speech in first-year students at elementary mathematics lessons in a teachers training college

The article is devoted to the issue of the development professional mathematical speech at first-year students of mathematical profiles of training at pedagogical universities in the study of the discipline «Elementary Mathematics». In the article, the author gives a general characteristic of the teacher’s professional speech. Indicates the criteria for students of mathematical profiles of training to have professional mathematical speech. Describes methodical techniques for the formation of various components of this speech. It also gives examples of special tasks aimed at the formation of these components in students in the context of working with a mathematical problem in study elementary mathematics.
