This work is devoted to the methodology of work on speech development, which is carried out when studying sentences with introductory constructions. An attempt is made to substantiate the need to improve speech skills. The need to improve speech abilities and the relevance of this type of work are investigated. Variants of exercises that can be used in Russian language lessons are offered.
