Development of the region through investment potential

The article deals with the development of regions in the context of investment modernization. The relevance of this research area is due to the fact that the availability of objective information about the scale and structure of investment potentials of the regions is necessary both for carrying out a balanced state policy at the Federal and regional levels in the field of attracting direct and portfolio investments, external borrowing, and for using the budget for lending to enterprises. Materials of scientific works, approaches to the study of the studied problems allowed to identify the methodological basis for the study.
