Development of the market of lawyer services in Russia at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries: social and economic, legal and cultural context

Article covers process of formation of system of legal services within the Russian lawyer community in the conditions of development of market economy and modernization of the legal sphere in Russia in 1990 - the 2000th. The author shows dynamics of the legal, social and economic, information factors defining professional activity of privately practicing lawyers, lawyer boards and other forms of the corporate organization of legal profession during the considered period. In article specifics of the lawyer activity combining lines of private business with human rights functions reveal, development of legal profession is considered as an important component of modernization transit of Russia at a boundary of the XX-XXI centuries.
