Development of aircraft and engine fleet and its financial and logistical support in the Tyumen region in the 1960-s

The article analyses the state of the air transportation infrastructure of the Tyumen region, various aspects of financial and logistical support, and the state of civil aviation. The author discusses the measures implemented by the government and the leadership of the Tyumen aviation aimed to improve material support and form aircraft and engine fleet. The findings indicate important role of the oil and gas department in the development of air transport.
