Development of the education system of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a factor in the internal policy of the state

Education is a necessary factor in the existence and development of any society. To a large extent, the situation in the educational sphere depends on the general socio-economic situation in the country, and is also determined by such factors as goals, the achievement of which is proclaimed at the state level as a necessary condition for the functioning of the educational system; requests made by society to the level of training of graduates; ways of exercising management functions, etc. The purpose of this study is to examine the formation of the education system in one of the leading countries of the Arab East - the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The paper considers the issues of the formation of the country's education system, the factors influencing its reformation; the features of the education system, including those of women, have been analyzed. It is concluded that the education system in Saudi Arabia is developing quite successfully
