Development of the system for assessing the effectiveness of public administration in the Russian Federation

An effective public administration is considered to be the key to socio-economic development of the state and increase of its competitiveness in the international arena. Modern market conditions impose high requirements to the efficiency of public administration. Nowadays, the problem of assessing the effectiveness of public administration emerged full blown. The article analyzes the system for assessing the efficiency of public administration in the Russian Federation, the main directions for its improvement. We have considered the possible criteria for assessing the efficiency of public administration and the criteria used in the Russian Federation. As the efficiency of public administration is a complex term, thus its assessment should be based on the types of public administration efficiency. An analysis of the system for assessing the efficiency of public administration in the Russian Federation allowed us to propose the methods for its social and economic efficiency assessment
