The development of the system of support for children with disabilities: international cooperation experience

Problem and purpose. The article presents the regional experience of international cooperation for assistance to children with disabilities in the Krasnoyarsk region. Innovative forms of joint activities organization of Universities from different countries - international institutions, international Consortium of Institutions - are described; the results of these structures' work are presented. The purpose of the article is to summarize the international cooperation organized on the basis of the KSPU named after V. P. Astafiev, the International Institute for Autism and the International Institute for Monitoring the Achievements of school-children with considerable disabilities. The methodology of the study is based on the analysis and generalization of the international cooperation experience of the above-mentioned Institutions for supporting children with disabilities in the Krasnoyarsk region. Results. The technologies and content of inter-institutional cooperation were developed in scientific-research, educational and social projects that facilitate the formation of the system for assisting children with disabilities. Alongside with enlarging the number of innovative practices in education and support for children with disabilities, the development of new forms and methods for perfecting the professional level of specialists working with children of this category is taking place. Conclusion. The analysis of positive changes in the system of education and support of children with disabilities in the Krasnoyarsk region suggests that the experience of international cooperation of scientists and educators is productive and promising.
