The student sports development and organizational and financial support of student national teams in federal districts and regions of Russia

Youth and student sports in Russia are developing rapidly, therefor require special attention at the local and regional levels and improving a legislative framework at the federal level. The authors of the article analyzed the practice of supporting student sports in the regions of Russia, as well as statistics on the participation of national student teams in all-Russian sports competitions. The statistical reports of Russian universities on the implementation of measures for the development of youth policy, including physical and wellness areas, are the basis for studying the article. The authors studied the normative documents regulating the relations of executive authorities, higher education organizations and subordinate institutions in charge of sports training. The data obtained were analyzed by methods of mathematical statistics and presented in the form of diagrams and tables. In the article, the authors conclude that the dependence of the development of student sports on the financing of the industry depends directly.
