Problem and purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of qualitative content, mechanisms of development and manifestation of subjectivity of the individual, its representation in the minds of future psychologists. The purpose of the article is to present the results of the analysis of scientific literature allowing to examine the essential characteristics and indicators of subjectivity of the personality and its representation in the minds of future psychologists - first year students of the university. The methodological basis of the study was backed by the works of K.A. Abulkhanova [2016] about the person as a subject of life activity, life path; V.S. Agapova [2009] with the analysis of the acmeological formation of the “I-concept” of the individual in professional activities; T.V. Kornilova [2012] on tolerance for uncertainty among teachers and students; A.I. Sannikova [2015] who determined the structural-fundamental model of personal decision- making; N.T. Selezneva [2015] on the subjectivity of personality in adolescence, which allowed the authors to identify methodological approaches to determine the qualitative content of subjectivity of the individual and its indicators. The choice of research methods was based on understanding the complexity of the structure of personality sub-personality, multifaceted manifestation and multidimensionality of its indicators, the use of the principles of systemic and sub-developmental approaches. The results of the research make it possible to deepen the idea of the qualitative content, mechanisms of development and manifestation of subjectivity of the individual, to confirm the fact that this integrative property of the personality is not represented in the minds of future psychologists as a necessary, qualitative professional neoformation that allows to carry out educational, professional and professional activities in optimal ways. The conclusion. The urgency and practical significance of the problem of personality subjectivity of future psychologists, presented in the analysis of the results of the research, highlighted the need for further development of conceptual and methodological approaches to its formation in future psychologists in the process of organizing and supporting their educational and professional activities in university.
