Development of special economic zones

In this article, the history of special economic zones, the features of their creation and development in various countries are examined in detail. Attention is also paid to the disclosure of the essence of the concept of the "Special Economic Zone". The influence of SEZ on the development of the world economy as a whole, and the economies of individual countries in particular, is analyzed. The SEZ is considered as a world trend in the sphere of innovation policy.
