The development of the traditions of pottery and innovations in the earthenware toy of rural craftsmen of Samara region

The article contains the analysis of the development of pottery in the rural areas of Samara Region and the earthenware toys created on its base. The article is devoted to the toys of rural craftsmen carrying on the traditions of pottery in their creative work. Innovations in the toy-making craft reveal the artistic images of works, the shapes of small sculptural plastic figures, and the plots of earthenware compositions. Ceramic toys are studied as a phenomenon keeping and developing cultural-historical tradition of folk artistic crafts.
